About the Club
A real riding school. Not a gimmick. Not a tourist ride.
The Kapadokya Atlı Spor Kulübü is a federation-registered equestrian sports club, founded in 2024 and based at Moonlight Horse Ranch. We’re licensed by the Cappadocia Authority of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for tourism-purpose sportive activity, and registered with the Turkish Equestrian Federation as a recognized club.
The Club is led by Yıldız Özgür — Rahmi’s partner in life and in this ranch. While Rahmi works the saddle, Yıldız runs the program: federation paperwork, licensing, child and adult education tracks, the full season calendar.
What sets us apart is the structure. Every horse in the program carries an individual life number, registered with the Ministry. Every coach holds a federation license, a psychotechnical course certificate, and first aid certification. Every lesson runs to a defined progression — not a "let’s go for a fun ride" approach.
If the Moonlight Rider Immersion Camp is six days of premium transformation, the Club is what happens after. The lessons that turn a beginner into a rider. The progression that turns a confident rider into a competent one. The home you keep coming back to.

English-Style
Classical riding in the manège.
Position, balance, control. The seat that lets you ride any horse, in any country, for the rest of your life. Lessons run in our arena with federation-licensed coaches.

Out in the Valleys
Riding the valleys, properly.
Once you've earned it, the valleys open up to you. You ride through Güllüdere, Red Valley, and Love Valley not as a tourist, but as a rider who can handle the terrain.

Kids & Adults
From "I’ve never touched a horse" to "I want to compete."
Structured programs for children and adults. Beginners assessed in the first lesson. Intermediate and advanced riders moved through dressage, jumping fundamentals, and trail competence at their own pace.

Therapeutic Programs
Therapy through horses.
Rahmi Özgür is one of the few trainers in Turkey certified in equine-assisted therapy. He holds a joint certification from the Turkish Equestrian Federation, Harran University, and Heilpferde.de of Germany. Programmes are available in therapeutic, special needs, and wellness contexts.

You read about him on the Our Story page. Here’s what’s relevant to the Club: Rahmi Özgür is a certified equestrian coach under the Turkish Equestrian Federation, with three generations of family horsemanship behind him.
In 2020, he completed a specialized program at Harran University’s Suruç Vocational School in Equine-Assisted Therapy Coaching — a joint certification with the Turkish Equestrian Federation and Heilpferde.de (Germany’s leading therapeutic riding organization). The certificate is signed by the President of the Federation himself.
He doesn’t talk about credentials. The horses are his evidence. But when a parent asks whether their child will be safe in a lesson, the answer isn’t "of course" — it’s a wall of paperwork that says yes, officially, with multiple signatures.

What Makes It Real
Every paper that should exist, exists.
A lot of "horse clubs" in Cappadocia are a sign on a fence. Ours is on file with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Cappadocia Authority, and the Turkish Equestrian Federation.

Getting Started
No paperwork. Just show up.
There is no membership fee. No annual contract. No initiation ritual.
You book a single lesson. You arrive. The coach assesses you, pairs you to the right horse, and starts the lesson. If you want to keep going, you buy a pack. If you don’t, you don’t.
