Ebubekir Sınmaz
Vice President · Kapadokya Atlı Spor Kulübü
“Whether it’s the bow, the horse, or a child learning to balance — the discipline is the same.”
Born in Nevşehir in 1981, Ebubekir grew up in the same valleys he now serves. He’s a physical education and sports teacher by profession, with a degree from the School of Physical Education and Sports completed in 2005 — and a public-school teaching career he still holds today.
But teaching gym was never going to be the whole story. Alongside his career as a state educator, Ebubekir is a federation-licensed endurance rider in the Atlı Dayanıklılık branch of the Turkish Equestrian Federation, a practitioner of traditional Turkish archery, and a 1st Level Certified Coach for Athletes with Disabilities from the Turkey Special Athletes Federation. His work has taken him onto film sets — appearing in commercials and television series performing equestrian sequences.
At the Kapadokya Atlı Spor Kulübü, Ebubekir serves as Vice President alongside Yıldız Özgür. His range across education, sport, adaptive coaching, and youth programs makes him the natural person to handle the club’s growth: member relations, infrastructure planning, sponsorship and partnership building, sports event organization, and the budget discipline that keeps the operation funded year over year.
He continues to teach lessons and lead social-responsibility programs around adaptive sport — work that ties our Club directly to the broader Equine-Assisted Therapy coaching Rahmi leads.
